The wine's structure is supported by fine tannins and a mineral edge, reflecting its origin from 80+ year old vines in the Krondorf subregion of the Barossa Valley. This expressive Grenache showcases elegance and drinkability.
The 2023 Frederick Stevenson Montepulciano opens with a vibrant nose of blackberry, spiced plum compote, and mulberries, complemented by notes of blackberry leaf, alpine herbs, and a touch of peppery saucisson. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and juicy, showcasing a rich core of dark fruit flavors, lively acidity, and fine, chalky tannins.
